Streetwear by Rodarte

Rodarte is famous for its romantic and delicate aesthetic that clearly defines a Rodarte woman. Back in 2006, sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy have conquered the New York Fashion Week with its mini collection of sixteen handmade dresses. Rodarte has evolved and the recent move of its catwalk show from New York to Paris was just a beginning. This year, the sisters have also directed their first thriller movie titled ‘Woodshock’. Starring Kirsten Dunst, a devote Rodarte fan, it refers to designers’ childhood in California.

Rodarte remains an independent brand that has consistently turned down the offers of financial support from big fashion conglomerates. Still, the Rodarte sisters have not stayed indifferent to the evolving fashion landscape. They responded really well to the rise of streetwear with their collection of everyday basics. Rodarte sweatshirts and t-shirts made a great alternative for brand’s followers who wanted to express their Rodarte love in a more causal way. The streetwear collection features minimalistic typography that has become symbolic – you probably recognise the ‘Radarte’ print from streetwear photographs. So if you love Rodarte as much as we do, we’ve got a couple of options for you!
